Last Saturday the bookclub I go to, went out for dinner - unfortunately all the other photos didn't really come out as we had Earth Hour whether we wanted it or not, and had to eat the majority of our meal by very puny candles. We all read the ocassional book, and all enjoy the suppers produced. But its good to get together with a group of people I dont usually socialise with. I am finding it quite taxing with muffin and hotchocolate with the walking girls, club sandwich and tea with Camille, Sweet slice and tea with Jo and Olwyn, Muffin and gingerbeer with the golf girls, Drinks and a platter with Figjam, supper with bookclub.... But I guess it's better to have too many friends than too few! Not sure what it's doing to my figure -or do I have to sit their and watch the others eat their treat?
Last night we had dinner with Dawn and Paul Gretton - just the four of us, so nice from a conversational point of view. The stand-out dish was the mushroom soup with blue cheese. YUM
