We let the family get off to school and work and then we head up town. I want to buy some warmer shoes from Ziera and a few things from K and K and I also check out a new shop called Paint the Town Red. Some lovely stuff but not necessary now that I'm retired. Millie texts us that she has forgotten her calculator so we rush that down to school.
Duncan has his first afternoon nap for a while. Jill has had a big filling at the dentist but has prepared a lasagne for dinner in advance.
Wednesday morning was a tough morning for us on the technology front - making bookings and catching up on bills to be paid and emails. After lunch we headed for Balmacewen Golf course. Duncan played 18 holes with Brian Stewart while Di and I played 9. Its a very hilly course and I certainly sprinkled it with golf balls.
I had made a slow cooker chicken dish so it was easy to feed the kids before Seascouts. Later we drove and watched them out on the harbour. Alex is on the bow and Millie is in the first row of rowers.
Thursday was time to reprovision again so we did a load of washing and went to the supermarket. More bookings and emails to do. The day is sunny, but with a cruel wind - just as well Millie has her sports hoodie!
After lunch I have a golf lesson at Balmacewen as they have a nice lady professional.
That night we go out to a Korean BBQ which is a bit of fun.
